About Phius and Phius Alliance

Phius Alliance is a subsidiary program of Phius (formerly the Passive House Institute U.S.), which is a non-profit organization committed since 2007 to making high-performance passive building the mainstream market standard. Today Phius is the leading passive building standard setting, research and information provider, training, and certification institute in North America. Phius supports and inspires the growing community of passive building professionals and guides large-scale market transformation in the North American building industry. Additionally, Phius sets and administers the only passive building standard on the market based upon climate-specific comfort and performance criteria, and the only passive building standard that requires verified on-site quality control measures for certification.

As the passive building movement grew, Phius Alliance (formerly the Passive House Alliance U.S.) was created to provide a network of local chapters to connect interested parties and help foster the continued advancement of passive building principles–Phius Alliance - Wisconsin is now one of those local chapters. Phius Alliance offers its growing membership base the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders interested in passive building and to be part of a local chapter. Furthermore, the group provides continuing education, training, exclusive resources, marketing, advocacy, opportunity to serve on committees and boards, and a variety of useful discounts.

Local Phius Alliance - Wisconsin members receive all the benefits described above and are also able to participate and vote in meetings, serve on committees, and are eligible for board seats. In addition to these benefits, Phius Alliance - Wisconsin provides the opportunity to network and learn from like-minded individuals. Phius Alliance - Wisconsin is committed to providing our members with a valuable experience as we continue to push passive building in Wisconsin.
